The black and white video shows Beyoncé reflecting and expressing her thoughts about events that happened in the past year or so. With beautiful shots and intimate moments, “Yours and Mine” is the perfect gift from our Queen B to her “Bey-Hive”.
“NOW THAT I’M FAMOUS, IT’S REALLY DIFFICULT TO DO SIMPLE THINGS. I THINK IT’S THE HARDEST THING TO GIVE UP,” says Beyoncé during the first minute of the video.
During the 11-minute long video, we see never before scenes of some of the incredible music videos filmed for each song part of the self-titled album.
The scenes were put together with Beyoncé speaking over it about a range of topics, from feminism to motherhood, from marriage to being famous.
Beyoncé also reflects on how people perceive her saying: “WHEN YOU’RE FAMOUS, NO ONE LOOKS AT YOU AS A HUMAN ANYMORE. YOU BECOME THE PROPERTY OF THE PUBLIC. THERE’S NOTHING REAL ABOUT IT.”
The video has some deep moments, Beyoncé talks about the rumours that were running around the media earlier in the year and she also talks about a friend of hers who passed away.
Beyoncé ends this stunning video expressing her love for music, her husband and her daughter, with a shot of her and Blue Ivy walking on a beach.
