Celine Dion has always been one of the few mega divas who like to keep their private lives as discreet as possible unlike some of her peers (Mariah we are looking at you girl!!!), since her husband passed away almost a year ago Celine has been really off the radar, she only did a few appearances here and there but nothing much, until now when she spoke to Page 6.
Celine Dion and late husband Rene Angelil were married for 22 years and they had four children together but sadly he passed away last January because of throat cancer.
With the first anniversary of his death approaching and to make things more delicate is the approach of Christmas, which we all know is a very important time of the year for most families around the world, Celine talks to Page 6 to share some of her thoughts and feelings on this delicate situation.
You can find the full discussion on the publication’s website, here you can find some extracts of the entire chat.
Celine says: “I CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S GOING TO BE A YEAR THAT MU HUSBAND PASSED… IT’S KIND OF A BITTERSWEET MOMENT… WE NEED TO REALLY MAKE THE HOLIDAYS REALLY HAPPY.”
Awwww….what a trooper right???
Times like Christmas are some important times of the year that most people feel rather heavily the recent lost of a loved one and not everyone out there can cope with such feelings.
Celine explains: “I HAVE TO STAND TALL AND STRONG, BE POSITIVE, DO THE BEST YOU CAN AND TO LIVE FOR TODAY, NOT FOR TOMORROW AND KNOW NOTHING IS PERFECT.”
Good for her to be such a strong woman, that is the pure definition of what a true fierce diva is!!!
