Cher’s current tour, the amazing “Dress To Kill Tour” is on the way to become the most successful tour of the year, if the numbers released by Billboard.com are to be correct.
So far, Cher has played a total of 49 shows since the tour kicked-off on March 22nd in Phoenix and all the way to its last concert in July 11th in San Diego, that was the last concert of the tour’s first North American leg.
The 49 shows had a total of 610,812 attendees, grossing a total of $54.9 million in tickets and merchandising sales. The concert at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas is so far the most profitable of the tour, grossing $1.75 million. When Cher played at the Izod Center in New Jersey, on May 10th, she had a full-house of 14,893 fans waiting for her and that is the most attended concert so far of “DTK”.
Cher is taking a break now but she will be back on the road with a re-vamp “Dress To Kill Tour” that is going to have even brand new outfits on September 11th in Albany’s Times Union Center.
Cher also said recently that “Dress To Kill” is definitely her last tour.
Ok Cher, we believe you…
