Christina Aguilera or Xtina (if you are a super fan) is warming up her comeback with a brand new song and we are loving it already. The new song “Telepathy”, features the music legend Nile Rogers who produced the song alongside pop darling Sia, who wrote the disco inspired song.
“Telepathy” is part of the soundtrack of “The Get Down”, the new Baz Lurhman’s project that airs on Netflix. This isn’t the first time that Christina and Baz have worked together, as she sang the smash-hit “Lady Marmalade” that was part of the soundtrack from his “Moulin Rouge” film back in 2001.
We don’t have any information if “Telepathy” will be on Aguilera’s much-waited upcoming album or if the sound of this amazing and fierce Nile Rodgers produced song is the sound that our diva is working with for new album.
If Christina goes down the disco path it would be fabulous!!! Her powerful voice and that sound/feel are just perfect for each other and I’m sure that I’m not alone when I say that “Disco Xtina” it’s EVERYTHING!!!
Christina has given us a taste of her disco side with songs like “Movie Like Jagger” which it was a mega-hit all over the world, plus the current music scene it’s in desperate need of some timeless and classy songs.
