The girl-band have released their latest single”Bo$$”, not long ago but the video for the song was released only yesterday, July 8th and we are loving the music video of this promising pop act.
The girls came on the third place during the second season of the X Factor USA, but since then, they signed a joint record deal with Syco Music, Simon Cowell’s record label and L.A. Reid’s record label, Epic Records.
Since then, Fifth Harmony have toured the country with Demi Lovato, released a handful of EP’s, one promotional single and two singles if you count the new one, “Bo$$”.
Their first EP, “Better Together”, which had the song “Movin’ On” debuted at number 6 on the Billboard 200 Chart last October.
With this new song the group hopes to show how mature they are, even though they are really young and have just about started their careers in pop music. Not throwing shade at them, I love the “Bo$$” music video but things don’t roll that easily. The song has a girl power theme around it, an urban sound that reminds me of early days Ameriie.
Both the song and the music video are great, but with lines like: “SHUT YOUR MOUTH/BOY I THINK YOU KNOW WHO RUN THIS HOUSE” and “PURSE ALL HEAVY, GETTIN’ OPRAH DOLLARS”, or even, “YOU’RE TALKING TO A LADY, I WANT A KANYE AND NOT A RAY J”, I think that there are very close to cross a line that is even too early for them to be thinking about it. Just saying ok…
Watch out for Fifth Harmony, their début album is set to be released some time this year, so we’re keeping our eyes open to what the girls will be releasing.
Let’s hope that everything works fine during this new change of sound and look that Fifth Harmony is starting.
