J.Lo played a very special concert last night, she entertained a huge crowd with a free concert back in the Bronx, place where she grew up to become the diva that the world loves and admires.
Since the beginning of her career Jennifer Lopez always made sure to let people know of her roots, a Bronx girl with Puerto Rican heritage.
Jennifer has played all over the world but never in the most important place of her life, the Bronx in New York City.
So this concert, for sure had a huge importance in her life, in her career and her story.
The 90-minute concert at Orchard Beach in Pelham Bay Park was a gift from the diva to her adoring fans and what could be better than a full production filled with hits like “Waiting For Tonight”, “Ain’t It Funny” and “Get Right”?
The concert was a journey through the 15 years since J.Lo first gave us pop classics like her first number one song “If You Had My Love” , up to her latest single “First Love” and new tracks from her upcoming album “A.K.A.” that comes out on June 17th.
She looked amazing, wearing a range of fierce and striking outfits, including one that took us back in time to the year of 2000 when J.Lo walked the red carpet at the Grammy’s wearing the iconic Versace dress.
The concert started with “Same Girl” and ended with the “frecking” amazing “Jenny From The Block”, what a perfect ending!!!
Everything was on point, vocals, moves, outfits like we naturally expect from a J.Lo’s concert.
To make the concert even more special, she performed some of her biggest hits with its original rappers, like Ja Rule and Fat Joe.
The pictures that keep appearing on-line are just amazing and I cannot wait to see videos of the 90-minute concert.
Jennifer Lopez might be a global superstar but she’s still “Jenny From The Block” and we love her!!!
