The magazine calls their spread with the singer “The Lorde Revolution” and they might as well be right on that one. Since Lorde appeared on the scene, she’s been everywhere and she’s the talk of the town let’s say.
Last year she dominated the charts (making history in some cases), sold over 2 million copies of her debut album, won a few important awards, played in countries that she never dreamt of and after her recent performance at “Coachella” she just proved why all the eyes have been on her.
It was a matter of time until Lorde get a “Vogue”cover, even if it’s the “Teen” version of the fashion bible.
She’s only 17 years old so a “Teen Vogue” is a great start.
Lorde’s usual goth and awkward looks disappeared and the singer appears with fashion looks but still keeping her identity.
She wears brands like “Marc Jacobs” and “Moschino” in the most shots and I think she looks amazing.
She talks about her career, the effect that pop-stars can have on people, she express her view on the music industry and much more.
The issue comes out in May and I can’t wait to see more of this new Lorde and I’m hoping that she have learned one thing or two about fashion from the magazine stylists.
