“Pills N Potions” was released not long ago and it taking the charts by storm. On Nicki’s VEVO channel the video has over 9 million views and the song is rising on most charts.
A Twitter user posted, “SORRY BUT WHOEVER DIRECTED THE #PILLSNPOTIONS VIDEO NEEDS TO RE-VALUATE THEIR EFFORT.”
The user continued, “TURNS OUT DIANE MARTEL DIRECTED THE VIDEO. AFTER CREATING THE WE CAN’T STOP AND BLURRED LINES VIDEO, HOW DID SHE MANAGE TO SLIP UP??”
To major shock, Diane Martel responded the fan’s Tweets saying, “IT’S NOT MY EDIT – IT SUCKS.”
But the director deleted her response not long after she posted, so I’m assuming she realised what she has done and the mess that a post like that could cause.
I love “Pills N Potions” and the video might be a bit strange but still is a cool and different kind of video, even more different if we consider that is a Nicki Minaj video.
The song is part of Minaj’s new album, “The Pink Print”, that should hit the stores later this year.
