Finally, MTV stepped up and provided a great show this year. As a kid who grow-up watching the show in the golden days of the 90’s and the 00’s, I was in need of a fierce show because in the past few years the show has gone down hill.
Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj did an amazing job when performing their smash-hit “Bang Bang”.
They looked like pop-stars “realness” and the performance was FABULOUS!!!
Nicki Minaj had a major wardrobe mal-function during “Bang Bang”, her dress wouldn’t zip it up and she was trying to keep her bits covered up throughout the performance.
But she still looked amazing and was all smiles.
But Nicki Minaj kind of stole the show once she took over the stage to show us her “Anaconda” and let me tell you honey, we saw the “Anaconda” in its full form!!!
It was like watching the music video, she did it all live on stage “hunties”!!!
I mean, the girl-on-girl action, the fierce dance routine she does while sitting on a chair, but in this case a tree stump.
Minaj proved once again why she’s the “Queen Of Hip-Hop!!!
She “twerked” like there was no tomorrow and it was amazing!!!
Some members of the audience, like J.Lo and Rita Ora didn’t looked impressed by the action on stage, when the cameras panned over them, their faces were hilarious!!!
I think that Nicki did an amazing job!!! She was flirty, cute, fierce and did the song the justice that it deserves.
From hip-hop “realness” to pop-rock with first timers Maroon 5.
The band played for the first time at the MTV show in an outside stage.
The huge stage set up for the band looked incredible and they did an amazing job performing their hit smash-hit “Maps”.
Adam Levine looked hot as ever and him, along his band mates entertained the huge crowd big time.
One of my favourite performances of the show this year, was the duet between Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora.
Their song “Black Widow” came to life on Sunday and both Iggy and Rita looked FABULOUS!!!
I loved their outfits, they were giving it an “Elvira” of modern times vibe, a lot of side-booty, it was just “pure realness”. Both were on point with the vocals, specially Ms. Ora.
The show ended on a very high note but you know that our Queen B is getting a post of her own.
Anyways, I’m happy that MTV finally brought things back to the fierce level honey!!!
